My name is Arteum, I earned a PhD in quantum chemistry at Georgia Institute of Technology in 2006. Currently I am working as a postdoc at Columbia University. My interests include theoretical physics, mathematics, quantum chemistry, literature in the form of novels and plays (especially English), linguistics, languages (I speak English, Ukrainian, Russian, and French fluently), chess, progressive rock music. In the past two years I've been eagerly learning biological sciences, especially biochemistry, molecular cell biology, genetics and genomics. I am an atheist and an aspiring writer.
