Arthur Wilmot (February 14, 1845 — May 12, 1876) was an English cricketer. Wilmot was born in Chaddesden Hall and died in Morley.
Wilmot appeared in the first ever match Derbyshire played as a county side, in 1871, which they won by an innings and eleven runs. This match coincidentally set a record for the lowest ever team total for team-mates Lancashire, a record which still stands today, as well as a record for the lowest total scored against Derbyshire, which wasn't broken until 87 years later.
Wilmot finished the match with a pair, thrust down from an opening batting position in the first innings to seventh in the second. Wilmot died in Morley, Derbyshire at the age of 31.
