Arthur Grigg

Arthur Nattle Grigg (1896 - 1941) was a New Zealand politician of the National Party. He was educated at Christ's College and was a farmer.

He represented the electorate of Mid-Canterbury in Parliament from 1938, when he defeated Horace Herring, to 1941. He was a Major in the NZEF in WWII, and was killed when Brigadier Hargest’s headquarters in Libya was overrun.

His wife Mary Grigg succeeded him in the seat (the first woman National MP), but retired when she remarried.
