I'm confused by the ring current (orange arrow). If this is indeed the current then the induced magnetic field is pointing in the wrong direction by the right hand rule. It would seem that the orange arrow is the electron motion. Is it just understood that ring current means electron flow despite the accepted use of current to indicate positive charge flow?
