"Around the World" was the theme song from the 1956 movie Around the World in 80 Days.
It was written by Harold Adamson and Victor Young.
Although it never actually featured in Around the World in Eighty Days with the lyrics, it is the vocal version which has by far become the best known. It has been recorded, among others, by:
