English: 1st Lt. Josh Fredrick reviews maintenance checklists for a General Electric F101 engine being used for the initial testing of a 50-50 mix of Fisher-Trosch and JP-8 jet fuels at Arnold Engineering Development Center, Arnold Air Force Base, Tenn. The new synthetic fuel will reduce U.S. dependency on foreign oil and increase our choices for fuel. Lieutenant Fredrick is an air propulsion test project manger for the center.
