Arnold Mvuemba Makengo (born 28 January 1985 in Alençon, France) is a French football midfielder of DR Congolese parentage, currently playing for Portsmouth. He can play as a central midfielder or winger.
Mvuemba was signed by Portsmouth on loan from Rennes in January 2007 until May 2007, with an option to complete a permanent deal.[1] He made his Premier League debut against Blackburn Rovers on 25 February 2007, and scored his first Premier League goal on 9 April 2007 in a 4–2 defeat to Watford.[2] On 3 July 2007, Mvuemba signed a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee with Portsmouth.[3]
