[edit] Notability

Why is an amateur child singer notable enough to be included in English Wikipedia? Alexf(t/c) 12:09, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

Well, first of all he is related to both famous music directors/singers Daboo Malik and Anu Malik which doesn't exactly make him 'amateur'.
2) If articles for American Juniors members exist (who were approximetely in the same age range at the time) then why not Armaan Malik?
3) Being the 8th best voted child singer in the whole of India out of a population of approx. 307,162 + children [1]who could have auditioned (between the age of 0-14) is quite amazing and therefore Armaan should be notable enough to have an article on Wikipedia.
