Regarding two of the Roman structures in Arles: the one in this photo is a full circle, whereas the other (depicted in the pillar ruins image) is only semi-circular. I was under the impression that the term 'amphitheatre' refers to a venue that is not a full circle, though it looks like I'm wrong on that. Either way, there should be some distinction between this image and this one -- calling them both by the same term is misleading, as they are completely separate structures in different locations.

Also, to the submitter of the first image -- JPG usually works best for photos, and PNG for everything else. Probably doesn't make much difference in this case, but it's something to keep in mind. --Patik 17:17, Aug 2, 2004 (UTC)

This photo is the Roman amphitheater, which is a circular structure. This one is the Roman theater, which is semi-circular. olivier 19:57, Nov 20, 2004 (UTC)
