Arlen Gargagliano, is a New York native, writer, educator and TV personality.

Growing up in New York City, Arlen Gargagliano has lived in Spain and Peru for several years. Gargagliano earned her BA in Journalism and Spanish at New York University, in New York City before going on to earn an MA in Teaching English as a Second Language at Hunter College, also in New York City. Former teacher and college administrator for Westchester Community College's Adult ESL Program, Gargagliano is currently teaching a course that she designed, ESL Through Cooking, at WCC's Mount Vernon extension site. In addition to being an author and educator, she has appeared in numerous TV spots, including Univision's morning show, Despierta America, NBC’s San Diego Morning Show, NBC’s Weekend Today Show, Telemundo, MegaTV22, News12 (Westchester, New York),and cooking demos throughout the United States.

Arlen Gargagliano lives with her husband and two children in New Rochelle, New York. She continues to travel throughout Latin America, where she gives workshops to both teachers and students of English on the subject of writing.
