I like the series of Avatar and have compiled a list of bendings that appear throughout the TV show.

Waterbending is manipulating water, making for a agile element.

[edit] Icebending/Snowbending

Icebending or snowbending is manipulating frozen water. The water is usually frozen by blowing on it and/or compressing it.

Plantbending is manipulating the water in plants. The plant has to be pretty flexible, or else it is hard to move.

[edit] Bloodbending

Bloodbending is manipulating the water in the blood of an animal, forcing it to move against it's will.

Mist/Fogbending is manipulating the water in the air by grouping the water particles in the atmosphere.

Waterbending can be used for healing, by redirecting the chi paths throughout the body.

Airbending is manipulating the air molecules in the atmosphere, making for an almost invisible and quick element.

[edit] Earthbending運土術

Earthbending is manipulating rocks and dirt, making for a strong element.

[edit] Metalbending

Metalbending is manipulating metal, which is just a purified version of earth.

Sandbending is manipulating sand, which is a quicker, but weaker earth.

Firebending is manipulating fire and sometimes heat, making a destructive element.

Lightningbending is manipulating and conducting lightning.

[edit] Magma/lavabending

Magma/Lavabending is manipulating superheated and melted rock and earth. Technically, this could probably also be done by earthbenders.
