[edit] Accent?

Her accent is described here as 'German' but when she appeared on the Australian TV program Spicks and Specks on 14 March 2007 her accent sounded distinctly Jamaican. Elitism 06:38, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

I would guess that Ari has spent 75% or so of the last 21 years in Jamaica, so it's no wonder. She also has distinct west-London twang, which has been more noticeable of late as she tours with the UK girls, possibly not that noticeable to an Australian, perhaps. But she certainly still retains plenty of the German. It's the basis of her accent. I don't think the description needs changing. Wwwhatsup 21:47, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

Yes, it is perfectly clear. Ari speaks with a German / Jamaican / West London sort of accent !! Fairly distinctive, then.

[edit] Appearance on Spicks & Specks

As mentioned above, Ari Up appeared on Spicks and Specks (earlier this year I think). I remember she was really disruptive and crazy during the show. Should this be mentioned in the article? Raph89 06:08, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

Well, disruptive and crazy is par for Ari. If it made the newspapers and you can cite something, or there is a clip online, then perhaps. Wwwhatsup 08:09, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
