Arena is a science fiction film starring Paul Satterfield and Claudia Christian. Set in 4038, Satterfield plays Steve Armstrong, a human contender in the space borne boxing sport called simply "The Arena". A human champion has not climbed to the top of the competition ladder for 50 years.
Armstrong reluctantly enters the ring, first merely to pay his four-armed friend's debt, and then to prove that he has what it takes to be champion.
During one early scene, Armstrong's friend Shorty enters a seedy casino using the password "swordfish."
