[edit] tangled rope

I see that you're going to refute an AFD. You can refer to Wikipedia:Notability as suggested by Maxamagalon, but I'd rather suggest that you refer to this guidline: WP:MUSIC. If this band meets 2 or more of the requirements listed, address those issues and make sure you can properly site your sources. RiseRobotRise 06:47, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

"Has been featured in multiple non-trivial published works in reliable and reputable media (excludes things like school newspapers (although university newspapers are usually fine), personal blogs, etc.)" "Has won or placed in a major music competition." "Is cited in notable and verifiable sources as being influential in style, technique, repertory or teaching in a particular music genre."

All of the above guide lines apply to Tangled Rope they are featured in many blogs and school newspapers, have won local rock music festival events including school events. Arctic-Lizard 05:52, 16 November 2006

Every time i go to contest the deletion, its deleted before my case is even heard. Wikipedia's guide line policy is a joke if i cant even rebut the case. If an admin user is reading this please re-evaluate the Tangled Rope wiki.

You have recently re-created the article Tangled Rope, which was deleted in accordance with Wikipedia's deletion policies. Please do not re-create the article. If you disagree with the article's deletion, you may ask for a deletion review. -- Omicronpersei8 (talk) 08:18, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

I have done all of the above followed all of the rules, guide lines etc. Still i see notices popping up telling me about deletion. If you want to, you can follow the links at the bottom of the page leading to the bands sites for more information, if you want more reasons not to delete this article visit its talk page. [edit] Just Helping

I can assure you that the articles you have created will not survive deletion unless if you can assess their notablility. Although I do think that taking articles straight to deletion review is a little premature. You must assess their notability, and cite any reliable source. (i.e. notable newspapers, magazine articles, websites etc) If you can provide the information nessesary, your articles will have a chance to remain on wikipedia.
Please take the time to review these examples of other articles that have went though AFD

I hope you find this useful. RiseRobotRise 10:40, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Plenty Valley FM

A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Plenty Valley FM, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. Mattinbgn\ talk 23:09, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
