Regarding the script: I've made a couple edits to it, and it (almost) has edit support. To make it easier, maybe we could move it to a page that we can both edit so we don't always have to merge changes? —tim.bounceback 00:49, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Sure. It can be found here: User:Billy/instaedit/instaedit. -Billy-talk

instaedit bug I created

shoot here's my take on the instaedit script we're working on. I added a minor edit checkbox and some other cool stuff, but I ran into a bug. Why don't you import script it and we'll see if you can see how to fix it? The problem is that the second time you try to edit it (dbl click on text, click cancel, dbl click on text again) the form's content disappears. The form does indeed contain the innerHTML it's supposed to (using the alert function for debugging) but for some reason it just refuses to display anything. Without any further ado, here it is: User:Rahk_EX/instaedit.js. Rahk E✘[[ my disscussions | Who Is ]] 17:30, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

Sure! I'll look at it immediately!

Your current RfA

Just a friendly suggestion, based on my comments and others at the RfA, I would reccomend withdrawing now. You've gotten 4 opposes in under 10 minutes, and short-sightedness in future RfA attempts could cause other editors to oppose you due to a heavy opposes (and low to no supports) on your already 3rd RfA. I see recognition of wp:snow as mature in RfAs, and often these editors who withdraw later go on to be admins. Let me know if you have any questions on my comments. Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Billy 2

Billy, I am sorry to inform you that I have closed your RfA as unlikely to reach consensus: there was an 8:0 ratio against the request at the time of processing. However, don't be downhearted by this: I can assure you that your contributions are both highly welcome and valued—many editors have failed their first request for adminship, only to sail through later and become well-respected administrators.

You may wish to review the Guide to RfA before submitting future nominations, as well as well as here and here, both of which list the more highly-supported RfAs. Additionally, admin coaching is a useful aid for editors interested in becoming an administrator. If I can assist you at all, please do not hesitate to contact me. Barnstar

I am asking whether WP:IE should have a barnstar for members and ordinary users who contribute a lot to it. i have a design for the barnstar if it is created on my computer so all I ask is should I create this barnstar? Yours sincerely --Markreidyhp 12:35, 27 March 2008 (UTC) Hey billy do you know where i could get a barnstar template to make it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Markreidyhp (talkcontribs) 20:07, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

Rollback

After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback can only be used to revert vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback may be removed at any time.

If you do not want rollback, then contact me and I'll remove it. I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, just leave me a message on my talk page. Happy editing! Malinaccier (talk) 21:23, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

No problem! Malinaccier (talk) 21:31, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
