Andrew R Crow graduated from Seneca College's Biological Research Technology Programme [1]in 1988 and is a Senior Research Assistant with the Canadian Blood Services [2], located at St. Michael's Hospital [3]. Crow is currently working on understanding the mechanism of action of Intravenous Immunoglobulin (IVIg) in the treatment of autoimmune disease. Crow's work on IVIg has greatly improved our understanding of how IVIg functions and has lead to the discovery of IVIg replacement therapies. Crow's contribution to the field of medical research was recognised by the Premier of Ontario in 2006 who presented him with the Premier's Award for Technology [4]
