[edit] About me
- Australian
- Born 1985 and raised in Melbourne, Australia
- Bachelor of Arts, three majors in International Politics, Linguistics, French, Monash University graduate 2008
- Reformed Christian who attends a Presbyterian Church, but (I hope) with a cheerful and generous attitude to Christians of other backgrounds
- I have a strong interest in Languages and Linguisitics; I speak intermediate to advanced French, basic to intermediate Spanish, simple Italian, German, Mandarin, can read and write the Russian and Greek alphabets
- My politics is quite centrist as I would support Christian Democratic parties.
- Regarding eschatology I believe in Partial Preterism, Postmillennialism (that is Pietististic or Revivalist Postmillennialism NOT Dominionist or Theonomic Reconstructionist Postmillennialism)
- I think that Young earth creationism is the only position ultimately logically consistent with the whole overview of the Bible, though I understand there are genuine Christians with other views who I believe to be misguided but with good intentions.
- I disagree with Hyper-Calvinism, Eschatological Futurism and Historicism, Full Preterism, Dispensationalism; both Christian Zionism AND Antisemitism; Islamism; Postmodernism, Religious pluralism, Politically correct "hyper-Tolerance"; Not knowing why you believe what you believe; Materialism, Hedonism, hyper-Romanticism in dating and courtship and social living

I log onto these online communities such a Wikipedia very little because I most prefer to simply talk my friends face to face or at least on the phone as opposed to doing it through online forums and messages. I was once very keen to contribute a lot to wikipedia but after a little while I began to think about it more and more so now I agree with most of the Criticism_of_Wikipedia so much so that I think it is based on a flawed model and is somewhat compromised. Hence, my only contributions from now on will be very minor ones here and there. However, I will leave this profile here in case anyone wants to read it. My greatest contributions in 2005 when I first got into it were the articles related to Christian eschatology especially Summary of Christian eschatological differences which I wrote from scratch. But from my perspective good information which is controversial is too easily compromised on wikipedia so I don't really bother fixing incorrect additions or changes that people make anymore. I'm sure everyone feels like this because we all like to have things our way, but I feel as though a lot of people have actually 'mucked up' my nice pristine article from what it originally was http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Summary_of_Christian_eschatological_differences&oldid=28979580. I also wrote about a third of the Covenant theology article http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Covenant_theology&oldid=28978418.
