Archers Road and Small Halls are a collection of scattered, small halls of residence for the University of Southampton in Southampton, southern England, housing about a thousand students and roughly 70 wardens.
This consists of the following halls:
- Highfield Hall
- Bencraft Court
- Gateley Hall (situated at Archers Road)
- Romero Hall (situated at Archers Road)
Rooms are available with various options consisting of room type and contract length of stay for undergraduate and postgraduate students. Each hall has a Junior Common Room.
Common features in most halls are a broadband internet connection and phones in every room, laundrette, JCR social area/TV room, and bike sheds.
Archers Road used to signify the greatest lad culture in Southampton. Sadly, due to the freshers, this is a tradition that is now long forgotten. RIP ex-residents of Archers Road. The Class of 2009 will never be forgotten.
Highfield Hall and Bencraft JCRs organise similar events but to a smaller extent.
