Archeon is a melodic death metal band that is heavily influenced by speed metal and power metal. The band is currently known as Made Of Hate since 2007. Their main lyrical themes are about apocalypse and life.
[edit] History
Archeon was formed in 2001 by Miostrzynski and Michal Tomaszewski. Influenced by Johann Sebastian Bach and In Flames, Archeon created a heavy and melodic sound. After many tries to find one, Michal Kostrzynski decided to take the position of the vocalist. In 2002 the group entered Hertz studio, and with the help of Slawek and Wojtek Wieslawscy, they recorded "Dead World", their first single. In January 2003, the band changed; Rhythm guitars were played by Radek Polrolniczak, and bass was played by Grzegorz Jezierski. Magazines like Mystic Art and Metal Hammer did notice Archeon. Archeon then played a few gigs for the metal band Hunter. Some months after the recording of After End Of The Weakness, Jezierski and Grzegorz left Archeon. Jarek Kajszczak replaced him. in September 2004, Janek Lesniak left the band, only to join the Polish Army. Archeon made the video clip of "Prayer", which then became popular.
