Archdiocese of Tuam (Church of Ireland)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Church Temporalities (Ireland) Act 1834 combined the Church of Ireland archdiocese with the Diocese of Killala and Achonry on April 13, 1834. On the death of the incumbent archbishop in 1839 Tuam lost its metropolitan status. Consequently it now forms part of the United Diocese of Tuam, Killala and Achonry.
