Arbazacius

Arbazacius led Roman forces which pacified Isauria ca 404, but the exact nature of his appointment remains unknown. [1]

An inscription locating the legio II Armeniaca in Isauria ca A. D. 380 provides the key to understanding Eunapius' contradictory statement that the "general" Arbazacius was both Isaurian and from Armenia.
