[edit] Physics and portals
see Portal:Physics, Portal:Biology, Portal:Chemistry and the like; these have articles and random links and news, but also a good overview; and include things such as 'history of' and related categories. +sj + 16:53, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy deletion of Computer-assisted drug design
A tag has been placed on Computer-assisted drug design, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD a1.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. — madman bum and angel 05:19, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Leonardo da Vinci
I just deleted the link you had made to a gallery. The reason for my doing this is that whoever created that gallery obviously knows nothing about the subject, and has included a painting by Hugo van der Goes, presumably because it is in the wiki article. It is included in the wiki article, not as one of Leonardo's works, but for its major influence on Florentine painting. It has no place in a gallery of Leonardo's works.
I notice there is yet another non-Leonardo in that gallery, as well as a copy of the Battle of Anghiari which requires a clear label stating it is a copy. Moreover, the gallery is badly arranged, with details that do not state which painting they are from etc. It's not the sort of quality that wiki ought to be linked to. I have emailed them to point out the problems.
