Aqua Ptychotis, also called Ajwain arak, is a herbal extract, usually sold as an alcoholic solution, the basic ingredient of which is thymol, derived from the ajwain plant. It is used as a cure for indigestion, flatulence, dyspepsia and diarrhoea.
