Apristurus aphyodes, is a cat shark of the family Scyliorhinidae found in deep water in the northeast Atlantic between latitudes 57° N and 58° N.
The little-known Apristurus aphyodes has a slender and cylindrical body. Dermal denticles from the dorsolateral side of the body are small and erect.
Reproduction is oviparous.
