Apni Khushian Apne Gham is a Hindi serial airs on TV Asia with an interesting concept which holds the interest though one hopes more effort had gone into the script.
[edit] Plot
The show revolves around four friends — if you didn’t guess — a Hindu, Muslim, Sikh and Marathi who share all their joys with each other on their daily morning walk. There is the 70-year-old Marathi and his wife who are left to fend for themselves as their son has settled abroad. The other friend Mohanlal is a petty government employee who has three grown-up daughters and no money to marry them off. The third, a Muslim, has married his friend’s widow whose son doesn’t accept him as his new father. The fourth, a Sikh nurses a sad secret — he could not marry the girl of his choice. But despite their problems, all three of them are outwardly happy and laugh a lot on their morning walks. That is the reason why their close friendship has been sustained.
