Anwar Stewart

Anwar Stewart, born February 9, 1976, at Panama City, Florida, is an award winning defensive lineman in the Canadian Football League.

After playing his college football at the University of Kentucky, Stewart joined the Calgary Stampeders of the CFL for the 2001 season, playing only 1 game.

He has since played for the Montreal Alouettes, from 2002 to 2006, leading the team in quarterback sack for the last 4 seasons (2003-06.) In 2004 he had 21 tackles, 9 sacks, 4 interceptions (and returned 2 of those for touchdowns,) good enough for an all star and the CFL's Most Outstanding Defensive Player Award.
