Anvar Ali

Anvar Ali (born1966) is a Malayalam poet who wrote Mazhakkalam(Kottayam: D. C. Books, 1999), which is a collection of 27 poems. This book won the Kanakasree Award of Kerala Sahithya Academy in 2000[citation needed]. Further, Ali is a film writer who has co-written the scenario of Maargam, a version of the famous Malayalam short fiction Pithrutharppanam with Rajiv Vijayraghavan and Dr. S. P. Ramesh.
