Thanks for your message about this article. I see your point - that there aren't actually many articles where a link to it would be relevant, and introducing it where it's not relevant would look like spamming. I think simply adding it to extra categories would be sufficient. The purpose of the 'orphan' template is to encourage people to add more links so the page can be found more easily, but if there actually aren't any pages that make sense to link to this one, then don't worry about it.
