[edit] Evolutionary ecology
I'm somewhat baffled as to why you removed this article from Category:Ecology. It seems obvious enough from the article's name that it's definitely ecology related. Any reason for this? Richard001 (talk) 07:19, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
The ecology catagory is vastly overfilled as is stated in the things to do for the biology portal. The article was placed in an appropiate ecology subcatgory. I'm not sure which article your referring to. If I removed the link and did not place it in a subcatagory than I apologize. But the ecology catagory needs some weeding. antarticstargate (talk) 02:59, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
- You deleted it from the ecology category without adding anything else, and Category:Evolutionary biology is not a daughter of ecology, so I added it back. I think this article is fine to go in category:ecology. Sub-disciplines are the sort of thing that seem suitable for the ecology cat, although I agree that it has been a bit bloated in the past, and probably still is.
