The result of the proposal was move from "Antoni Maura Montaner" to Antonio Maura, per the discussion below. Dekimasuよ! 09:25, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

Mr. Maura name was "Antonio Maura," not "Antoni Maura." The latter uses the Catalan-language form for "Antonio." There is no evidence Mr. Maura ever used "Antoni" as a public figure, and all English sources use "Antonio."

According to this, the "most commonly used name in English" is always preferred. Being Mr. Maura a Spanish politician from the beginning of the 20th Century, he's not that popular in today's English-language media. I checked reference works and google's English-language media archive.

In the reference work section, both Britannica and Columbia use "Antonio Maura y Montaner." As anecdotal evidence, I also did some browsing in my library. Payne uses "Antonio Maura" ("The Franco Regime, 1936-1975", The University of Wisconsin Press, 1987, ISBN 0299110702).

For the English-language media, a quick search on google's news archive produces only "Antonio Maura."

As for the name Mr. Maura himself used, I couldn't find any reference, and his signature was "AMaura," which doesn't help here. But, there's a Fundación Antonio Maura, created by his own family.

I do not agree with the move request.
Besides of the translation of his name, Antoni Maura was from Mallorca and his name must be written in catalan. Here you have some references:
I do know the translation of the name is very extended as he was the prime minister of Spain (a country not very respectuous with language minorities), but the name must be in catalan because this was his native language. Furthermore, spanish is spoken in Mallorca, but it's not the own language of the island. Paucabot 06:18, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
