Talk:Antipater II of Macedon
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] Regnal Numbering
Any idea why he was numbered 'II'? Was it in deference to his grandfather? Considering there was no Antipater I, (that I know of) it seems a little strange - maybe it should be mentioned in the article.
Was the original Antipater somehow considered to be on par with the King during his regencies?
