Does this article really need material about the "causes" of Anti-Muslim sentiment? I would go so far as to think that this article should be about it's title and that if needed a seperate article about causes should be created. Other views about this? (→Netscott) 06:39, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

Well I think it would be reasonable to discuss the causes, as long as the discussion is well sourced and does not violate WP:OR as the current section does. Deuterium 09:18, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

Netscott seems to be suggesting we should have a page on Islamophobia, which is only about the term; another page on anti-Muslim sentiment, which is only about the term; and a third page about the causes of anti-Muslim sentiment. While we're at it, we probably need a fourth page that explores the meaning of the term "causes of anti-Muslim sentiment."
