[edit] "The Machine" nickname

An anon. user, in user talk, says "When I first started watching snooker on the BBC back in the mid 1990's Hamilton was frequently referred to as 'the machine' by the MC and by the commentators." However, a Google search for "Anthony Hamilton" "the Machine" snooker -Wikipedia -Rage produces no relevant hits at all. I don't have any particular reason to doubt this editor but feel that something this obscure needs a reference citation. If anyone can source it from snooker magazines and books please do so and add it to the article. — SMcCandlish [talk] [cont] ‹(-¿-)› 17:43, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Hamilton's Broken Wrist (2001)

The article claims it was sustained while he was behaving out of character whilst he drunk, but Snooker Scene reported that he actually broke his wrist when he came to the rescue of a friend who was robbed on a night out. Any corroborating sources on this point?

I've heard the 'trying to prevent a mugging' story on the BBC several times.--MartinUK (talk) 22:21, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
