Bust-length profile portrait of French mathematician Antoine de Parcieux. "Antoine de Parcieux, des Academies royales des sciences de France, de Suéde et de Prusse, et Censeur royal. Né au Clôtet de Cessouae le vieua, Dioceze d'Uzès, le 26 octobre 1703, et mort à Paris, aux Galleries du Louvre, le 2 septembre 1768 / C.N. Cochin, del. ; B.A. Nicollet, sculp., 1777."
