[edit] Summary
I, Robert B. Livingston, made this image from a photo I took myself. It is a picture of some clouds in the sky.
It recalls to my mind the clouds on the album covers of John Lennon's Imagine and Live Peace in Toronto 1969.
What I imagine is a world in which there are no more flags-- except perhaps a flag that when held up blends into the sky behind it: in other words, represents a new allegiance to the world and the universe beyond-- not to any nation, state, tribe, or clan.
If people carried such flags-- no one might be able to see them.
Maybe then they would all be tossed down.
And there would be no more flags-- or better, no more idolatry.
