Antonio d' Abacco

Antonio d' Abacco (16th century) was an architect, engraver, and writer about the architecture of classical Rome.
He was a pupil of Antonio da Sangallo the Younger in Rome. In 1558, he published a valuable architectural treatise, entitled Libro d Antonio d' Abacco, appartenente а l' architettura, nel quale si figurano alcuone nobile antichtità de Roma, with prints engraved by himself. He also engraved the plans of the Basilica of St. Peter's from the designs of his master.
