Antonio Umberto Anatuppi, aka “Toothpick” because he regularly used a tooth pick to clean his teeth and also carried around a pack of them where ever he would go, Was a “Consigliere” For The Chicago Outfit in the era Of Johnny Torrio

In The Early years of Toothpick Anatuppi's Life he meet a man named Giuseppe Masseria and eventually join his Gang which later became The Genovese Family, Joe Masseria sent Antonio to be his man in Chicago for a while.

When Tony heard that Giuseppe Masseria had been killed he realised that he was unemployed. Knowning this Johnny Torrio offered tony a job in the Chicago Outfit which Tony accepted. After a few years Torrio was working with Al Capone and Tony was the new Consigliere of the Chicago Outfit.

Tony was at the top of his game. Consigliere and moving to Boss. but the men in Chicago Outfit didn't like it that Tony was moving up so fast, a few men got together including Tony Accardo, Charles Nicoletti and Sam Giancana and planed to take out Tony so they could move up in Chicago.

On the 5th of July 1946, Tony was gunned down in Little Italy, Chicago. His body was found with 2 bullets in his head and 1 bullet hole in his arm.
