Antoni Piechniczek

Antoni Piechniczek (born May 3, 1942 in Chorzów) is a retired Polish football player and a football manager.
As a player he played for clubs such as Naprzód Lipiny, Legia Warszawa, Ruch Chorzów and LB Châteauroux. He played also three matches for Polish national team.
As a football coach he have led teams such as Ruch Chorzów, Górnik Zabrze, Al Rayyan (Qatar) or Espérance Tunis (Tunisia).
He is well-known for coaching Polish national football team. He coached Poland in 1981-1986, then 1989-1993 and last time 1996-1997. He coached Poland at 1982 FIFA World Cup, where Poland won the bronze medal and at the 1986 FIFA World Cup.
He coached also Tunisia and United Arab Emirates.
