Anton Community Newspapers

Anton Community Newspapers, also known as Long Island Community Newspapers is a print media company based in Mineola, NY on Long Island in Nassau County and produces 18 weekly newspapers in Nassau County as well as The Boulevard Magazine and Healthy Living. Anton Community Newspapers is one of the largest privately owned newspaper companies in New York State.
Anton Community Newspapers was founded by Karl V. Anton in 1984 as a chain of eight community newspapers, which expanded rapidly. Today, Anton Community Newspapers publishes 18 weekly newspapers in Nassau County, NY, in addition to other bimonthly publications. The Boulevard magazine spun off from the roots and relationships of the community newspapers, capitalizing on established relationships and seeking out new ones. Anton Community Newspapers serves Long Island’s famed Gold Coast area. After Mr. Anton's death, his wife, Angela Susan Anton, became the Publisher and CEO of Anton Community Newspapers.
