Antipsychology is a term defining the resistance most often found within Christianity to the incorporation of Psychology into its teachings and practices. Antipsychology is the name of the movement now found within most US mainline Protestant denominations[citation needed] to review, consider, and possibly reject Psychology teachings, therapies, and most of all the practice of Christian clergy making referrals to mental health care providers.
