Anthousa or Anthoussa (in Greek: Ανθούσα) is a village in the Preveza prefecture, in the region of Epirus, in western Greece. Its 2001 population was 624 for the village and 689 for the municipal district. Anthousa is in the municipality of Parga.

[edit] About Anthousa

Anthoussa is built northwest of Parga above a Turkish built castle with a great location. It has several tombs and survived an ancient culture founded an ancient city of Elaia (Ελαία).

Its main industry are agriculture and oil production.

Anthoussa has a school, a few churches, banks, a post office, and a square (plateia), its nearest lyceum (middle school) and gymnasium (secondary school) are in the municipal seat.
