Anthony M. Frank

Anthony Melchior Frank (born 1931) served as the United States Postmaster General from 1988 to 1992.
He retired early from his position as chairman and chief executive of the First Nationwide Financial Corporation in order to accept the position of Postmaster General.
Mr. Frank made a guest appearance on the hit television series Murder She Wrote in the final episode of the seventh season (The Skinny According to Nick Cullhane), playing Jessica Fletcher's mailman. He was listed in the end credits as "and Postmaster General ANTHONY FRANK as The Mailman". The episode originally aired on 12 May 1991, and is available on DVD.
