Anthony Arkwright

Anthony Arkwright (born 1968) is a British murderer.
In 1989, at the age of 21, he killed his grandfather and three other people on a killing spree in Rotherham, Yorkshire. His case attracted much tabloid interest when it was revealed that a devil mask was found near one of the bodies. The police found the vicitims in reverse order to the order in which he killed them. At 6'8" he was a dominating presence and a powerful man. He was later found guilty of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment.
He remains in prison almost 20 years after his trial, and on 23 February 2008 The Times reported that he was among 50 or so life sentence prisoners who had been issued with whole life tariffs and were unlikely ever to be released.
