Antônio de Alcântara Machado

António Castilho de Alcântara Machado d'Oliveira (São Paulo, 25 de maio de 1901 — Rio de Janeiro, 14 de abril de 1935). Was a Brazilian writer, journalist and politic ativist. His most known book is Brás, Bexiga e Barra Funda. He's an important figure in the history of modernism in Brazil, although he didn't participate of the Week Of Modern Arts, that was made in the year of 1922 and considered the beginning of the Modern Arts in Brazil.
