About "Labradorescence": I think the correct term is "iridescense". Some people use "labradorescense" but I think that is incorrect as it mixes a mineral name with an optical property (imagine calling cochoidal fractures "quartzchiodal" because they happen in quartz, for example)

Hi, I would like to know where the anorthosite is being mined for alumina? Anybody know this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.225.176.130 (talk) 14:41, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
