Annie Whittle is a New Zealand singer and actress who has appeared on such shows as Shortland Street, where she played Barbara Heywood for four years[1] and has had a singing career that has spanned three decades. She has won the New Zealand Recording Industry Award for Top Female Recording Artist twice, in 1976 and in 1977.[2]

Her most notable film appearance was in The World's Fastest Indian (2005)
