Annabelle Candy Company

The Annabelle Candy Company, Inc is a Hayward, California based candy manufacturer. The company was founded in San Francisco, California in 1950 by Russian immigrant Sam Altshuler, who named the company after his daughter. The company currently manufactures 8 different candy bars.
The company moved to its present location in Hayward, California in 1965. In 1972, Annabelle bought the Golden Nugget Candy Company, taking over the manufacture of Big Hunk and Look bars. In 1978, Annabelle acquired the Cardinet Candy Company, bringing U-NO and Abba-Zaba bars into the fold.
