Anna Miller's (アンナミラーズ Anna Mirāzu?) is a chain of restaurants in Hawaii and Japan. The first branch opened in 1973 in Hawaii[1]; most of its expansion since has been in Japan[citation needed]. The chain is known for its breakfast selection and even more known for its desserts such as pies and cheesecakes.

The chain is also famous in Japan for their waitress uniforms.[citation needed]. These consist of a white blouse; an orange or pink miniskirted jumper-style dress, with the waistline cut underneath the breasts; a matching apron; and a heart-shaped name tag[citation needed]. At the Hawaii locations, the uniform is a dark green, with floral embroidery patterns along the hem.[citation needed]

There is a segment of Japanese male otaku who are particularly enthusiastic about the Anna Miller's waitresses as they find the uniforms cute. They often use the abbreviation "anmira" affectionately[citation needed]. Because of the enthusiasm of this particular young male demographic it has been suggested that many patronize the restaurant for the waitresses, rather than the food.[citation needed]

The girls themselves are usually in the range of 18 to 25 years old[citation needed]. This has led some to draw comparisons between Anna Miller's and Hooters. The recognizable icon of the Anna Miller's waitress is of such popularity among those in Japanese fandom that they have become a popular subject of cosplay.[citation needed]
