Anna Dawson (born 27 July 1937 in Bolton, Lancashire, England) is an actress who has featured in many episodes of the Benny Hill show during the seventies & is best known for her role as Violet Paddock in the 90s sitcom Keeping Up Appearances between 1992 and 1995 though her character was only featured on screen briefly and in a few episodes.
