Before I delve into, what I think, are the fascinating details of my life, I think it would be most beneficial for you to get a brief geography lesson about my whereabouts for the past 26 years. My journey starts in the same place that almost every other person whose name happens to be Anith would start...India. I was born in Palapetty, Kerala, India in 1979. Shortly thereafter, my parents and I moved to Thrissur where I learned to enjoy nice weather and friendly people. Ironic that I would find myself writing this in Chennai where I am greeted by a dryland outside. A few years later, I moved to Coimabthore, Tamilnadu where I attended graduation. With my education there, I learned how to speak Tamil, for the Tamil people don't respond well when spoken to in English, Malayalam, or Hindi. I know....a state that doesn't understand Hindi?!

Shortly after finishing the graduation, in 2002, I moved to Ernakulam, Kerala. Unlike the major culture shock of having to learn a new language that I faced when living in Coimbathore, almost everybody speaks English on this side of the India. In the end though, as of this writing, I seem to have settled comfortably at Chennai and home with my parents in Mobile.

Who am i ?

I am currently a Network Engineer at Network Systems and Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Technopark, Kerala and working on Wide Area Networks. This is absolutely the place for me or, anyone for that matter, to be, and I am going to make a brash statement and say that there is nowhere else in the world (besides home) that I would rather be. If you aren't into extreme hyperbole, you may want to skip the next sentence. Life at NeST is a 24/7 dance with the forces of science and engineering. I am hoping to major in CISCO, commonly known as CCIE if you value sleep. So far, I am having a great time. The ***** are really great, and getting the opportunity to work in a place that has more nerds per square foot than...Kerala...is pretty cool.

A lot of people have mentioned that in the previous incarnations of this About Me section, I really don't mention a lot about ME but instead bypass that topic and focus on outside things that I simply was a part of instead. So here is an incoherent run-on sentence to satisfy them, I am a Hindu, Viswakarma (BS). Everybody Loves Shiva and Lakshmi are the best sitcoms, the color Orange is vastly superior to the inferior non-orange colors, LINUX rule, I do not have a unibrow, Sherlock Holmes is the best detective EVER, geeks own ninjas any time any place. I am fairly moderate on my social views, the golden spiral looks cool when graphed, A Beautiful Mind and Lord of the Rings are the best movies, I like the Adanan Sami and A.R Rahaman so much that have almost every single/album/foreign release/dvd/video both groups have ever released, cereal is best soggy, anything pixely is great, Bill Gates is the most revolutionary figure to alter our modern lives from both a technological and business point of view, fortune cookies redeem the worst of ethnic foods, and if I were a video game character, I would definitely be Link...or the running helmet in Mega Man.

Where now ?

I have been very fortunate to have accomplished some really cool things at a fairly young age. 10 years ago, if a random person would have told me that I would become a network engineer, help maintain one of the world's hottest flash/design resources, and write about myself while sitting in one of METROS, I would not have believed that person.

Therefore, there is no way for me to even guess where I will find myself 10 years from now. I hope that I continue to contribute to society in a positive way. I am certain though, that in the future, I will be where I will need to be in order for me to accomplish what I was set out in life to accomplish.
